Continuing with the trip we took in May, I must mention our stays at the Holiday Inn Express in Mesquite NV. These were 2 overnighters both going to AZ and returning.
I have never enjoyed a stay more. It is worth it to ask for an upgrade and the pics will show you why.
The rooms were very clean, the WIFI free and good connections, the beds were so comfortable with hard and soft pillows, the showers were amazing. The desk clerk was exceptionally friendly and helpful.
In each room was a kitchenette which had a microwave, fridge, sink, and of course the coffee bar with regular coffee, decaf, and teas. Both times we had a private patio furnished with 2 chairs and a small table with a magnificent view of the desert.
Next to the check-in counter was an alcove that had snacks, cold juices and cold sodas, traveling meds, and even microwavable foods.
The Holiday Inn Express also had a hot tub and swimming pool. Parking was close to the entrance doors and was within walking distance of restaurants and a shopping mall with a Super Walmart.
Holiday Inn Expresses offer a free breakfast, and both times we enjoyed the experience. What choices! There were pancakes, cereals, eggs, sausage, bacon, muffins, fruit, juices, coffee, teas, hot cocoa, milk and plenty of tables and chairs. The food? Delicious!
Holiday Inns also offer a reward program to earn points towards stays or air travel and when you first sign up, you get bonus points.
I will pick Holiday Inn Expresses over any other hotels in the future. Just look at these pics to see how the Holiday Inn Express in Mesquite NV spoiled us.
Well, let’s face it. My husband also spoiled me by requesting the upgrades. Thank you, hon.
Want a quick but memorable getaway? Definitely stay at a Holiday Inn Express and ask for an upgrade.
